Employee cooperation negotiations have been finalised in Patria’s Aerostructures composite unit. Negotiations concerned all the unit’s personnel in Halli, Jämsä and Tampere, and were started due to productional and financial reasons as well as re-organisation of work. Delivery forecasts have significantly reduced in the commercial aircraft programmes due to the COVID19 pandemic.

Negotiations resulted in temporary lay-offs equal to 14 man-years of the unit’s personnel during 2020.

Aerostructures business unit designs and manufactures advanced aerospace structures. The unit employs 108 persons in Finland, in Halli, Jämsä and in Tampere.
